Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description:  

STACI is a successful and growing privately held company with operations located in the United States, Europe and Asia.  Our manufacturing centers of excellence are all located within China. Our principal products and services include printed circuit boards, aluminum extrusions, compression rubber keypads, injection molded plastics, and Electronic Manufacturing Services. We serve a long list of market leaders within their respective fields in the Automotive, Computer, Industrial Controls, Telecom, and Consumer Electronics areas.

We are looking for a talented individual to develop and service our accounts within the North Central marketplace. This individual will be the primary contact between the customer and our company on all issues related to the customer utilizing our products.

Responsibilities will include:
• Regular interface with all levels of customer management to ensure a thorough and timely understanding of the customer’s interests, requirements, and opportunities.
• Build strong customer relationships and create the recognition at the customers that STACI can provide valuable and long term solutions to their manufacturing needs.
• Interface with customers on a variety of issues including product and test specifications, manufacturing processes, purchase orders and releases, quality issues, etc.
• Drive all aspects of new program development, quoting, sampling qualifications as required.
• Exercise good business judgment and effective conflict resolution skills to solve problems and disputes that may arise.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering or related technical area
• 5 years minimum experience in electronics industry, preferably in component sales as noted above.
• Program/project management experience
• Frequent travel required

The ideal candidate should be highly self-motivated, possess strong organization skills, be detailed oriented, and be able to work well with all levels of the company to successfully complete the programs.
